About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant IV to join our team at Safran Electrical & Power. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our company's financial records and providing expert financial guidance to our management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, collect, and analyze accounting data to communicate financial information to internal and external customers.
  • Identify and resolve complex financial issues as Accounting Key User.
  • Perform financial reporting to headquarters and local management.
  • Perform and oversee balance sheet account reconciliation.
  • Focal to support SSC and resolve ERP issues concerning AR, AP, and Fixed Assets.
  • Support payroll postings.
  • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to management, customers, and employees.
  • Assist with external and internal financial audits and special projects.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data for the purpose of developing appropriate accounting and financial policies.
  • Coordinate and review basic accounting functions.
  • Assist with nonfinancial reporting to headquarters.

Requirements
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in the field of Accounting or Finance and 8+ years of experience in accounting.
  • Prefers 35 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work with other team members to achieve desired results.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI).
  • Must possess the ability to run and analyze accounting reports and data.
  • Knowledge of ERP system required (SAP preferred).
  • Advanced organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate and direct work activities across finance functions.
