Job Overview

SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that products comply with the company's food safety, regulatory, and quality benchmarks.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE


• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the restaurant, food production, or sanitation sectors.


• Familiarity with food industry audits, good manufacturing practices, and various food safety regulations is advantageous.


• A strong commitment to values such as honesty, integrity, respect for colleagues, teamwork, collaboration, accountability, and performance excellence.


• Capability to thrive in a dynamic, results-driven environment.


• Proficiency in managing multiple complex tasks concurrently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Execute and document quality control inspections and assessments.


• Conduct and record evaluations for personal hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


• Collect samples from the production environment or food items for sensory, microbiological, or chemical analysis.


• Carry out equipment calibration in accordance with established quality assurance protocols.


• Identify and investigate instances of non-compliance.


• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to coordinate and implement corrective actions for non-conformities.


• Propose new quality policies and procedures as needed to maintain high standards for products, processes, and services.


• Monitor and report quality concerns throughout the food manufacturing facility.


• Assist in the completion of corrective and preventive action investigations, along with other food safety and quality-related tasks.


• Support audit preparations as required.


• Review quality control documentation, take necessary actions, and provide retraining for production personnel as needed.
