Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular SICU team. As an RN in this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans. You will also work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Specialty certification in Cardiovascular Nursing highly recommended
