**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Artisan to join our team as an Innovative Cake Decorator. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your artistic talents and creativity while working in a fast-paced bakery environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and create visually appealing cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items that meet our high-quality standards.
  • Develop and implement new decorating techniques and ideas to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Work closely with our production team to ensure efficient cake production and timely delivery of orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to our strict food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum of 6-12 months retail or restaurant experience, preferably in a bakery or pastry environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cake decorating, including intermediate piping techniques and the ability to create decorative flowers and borders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and management.
  • Basic math skills for recipe conversions and modifications, as well as advanced knife handling and tool safety.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
