We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Restaurant Busser/Barback to join our team at Hotel Du Pont. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Clear plates and utensils in a timely and efficient manner
  • Reset tables between guests with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintain water levels throughout the meal
  • Collect and transport dirty dishware to the scraping area
  • Polish and sanitize dishware, silverware, and glassware
  • Communicate guest needs to the server or kitchen staff
  • Perform side work as detailed in the busser manual

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant as a front-of-house service position
  • Basic and professional English communication skills
  • Polished, professional, and punctual demeanor
  • Service-oriented mindset and hospitable disposition
  • Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds or more
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours
