Heavy Equipment Technician

The Heavy Equipment Technician will be responsible for performing complex repairs on oilfield service equipment, hydraulic components, compressors, and other heavy machinery. This role requires a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and field crew members to identify and resolve equipment issues
• Provide safe work practices and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of oilfield experience working with heavy equipment
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Work Environment:
The Heavy Equipment Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, both in the shop and on job sites in the field and roadside. The employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and potentially hazardous situations. The noise level in the environment is moderate to loud, and the employee may be exposed to flammable gas or liquids.
