Overview:
The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of clinical and administrative duties aimed at enhancing patient care and optimizing clinic workflow. This role includes:
- Conducting standard rooming procedures for patients.
- Administering immunizations, injections, and medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Collecting laboratory specimens as required.
In addition to the core responsibilities, the Medical Assistant may also:
- Provide support via telephone.
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Assist in managing prescription refills.
- Perform x-ray duties if certified.
- Conduct phlebotomy and clinic laboratory tests.
