Firewatch Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Firewatch Laborer to join our team at Brown & Root Industrial Services. As a Firewatch Laborer, you will be responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor at project sites under the direct supervision of a Site Manager.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare project sites to eliminate possible hazards;
• Operate small hand and power tools, decontamination of equipment;
• May be asked to operate road and off-road haul and water trucks;
• Handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials;

Requirements

To be successful as a Firewatch Laborer, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a driving record within company established parameters, be 18 years of age or older, and be able to lift up to 60 pounds. You must also be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, maintain 40 hour HAZWOPER training and applicable 8 hour refresher if required, and be able to work in an outdoor environment. 0-2 years of experience in a related field is preferred. Willingness to travel and report to work upon short notice is required.
