Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HealthCare Support. As a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of medications and supplies for shipment to patients.
Daily Responsibilities:- Select, pick, package, and label medications and ancillary supplies per prescription, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist in accordance with CVS specialty guidelines and pharmacy laws.
- Accurately count medications utilizing a manual process as well as any automated counting devices.
- Exercise proper hand sanitization and hazardous medication handling practices.
- Perform functions and/or responsibilities of an Operations Assistant (packer-20% of the week) as needed.
- Responsible for preparing and/or restocking the filling station with medications and/or supplies as needed.
- Responsible for cleaning all pill counting devices/equipment and general working areas.
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
- CA Pharmacy Tech License.
- Six months of work experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Prefer three months of work experience in a pick/pack/ship environment.
- Prefer three months of work computer experience.
- Able to utilize computer applications to enter data accurately and in line with production standards.
- Knows drug names and basic pharmacology knowledge and law.
- Understands medical terminology utilized in a Pharmacy.
- Able to collaborate with others to fill and ship accurate and timely orders.
- Must be able to recognize limitations on decision-making scope and be able to escalate issues falling outside of that scope.

Pay Details: $20.13 an hour.
