As a Prosthetist and Orthotist, you will be responsible for assessing patients, formulating treatment plans, implementing those plans, and following up with patients. You will also participate in practice management and collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team.

If you have a strong understanding of biomechanics, pathomechanics, gait analysis, kinesiology, anatomy, and physiology, and are able to communicate effectively with patients and staff, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and formulate treatment plans
  • Implement treatment plans and follow up with patients
  • Participate in practice management and collaborate with rehabilitation team members
  • Communicate effectively with patients and staff
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and innovations in prosthetics and orthotics
Requirements:
  • Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC)
  • Baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics, or the foreign equivalent, and current ABC Board-Eligibility in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics
  • Valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state licensure, if required
