Position Summary:
Sweve Tech LTD is on the lookout for a proficient Electrical Engineer to enhance our innovative team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering technical expertise and field support, ensuring the dependable operation, upkeep, and restoration of Sweve Tech's offerings. This position entails considerable travel and close cooperation with clients, suppliers, and various engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Field Service and Technical Assistance:
Conduct field service at client locations within the assigned territory and across other regions.
Provide onsite technical training to clients regarding the operation, repair, and maintenance of Sweve Tech products.
2. Preventive Maintenance:
Execute preventive maintenance tasks to optimize equipment availability, ensuring compliance with client production timelines and equipment standards.
3. Client Interaction and Support:
Address inquiries from both internal and external clients, delivering prompt technical solutions.
Internal clients encompass Sweve Tech LTD's teams, staff, suppliers, subsidiary companies, and branches. External clients include any Sweve Tech LTD customer.
4. Collaboration and Departmental Representation:
Act as a representative of the Engineering department in cross-departmental meetings.
Work in close collaboration with other engineering teams and technicians at client and supplier sites.
Engage with the Sales team and clients to ensure alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
5. Project Oversight and Engineering Duties:
Monitor project developments to guarantee adherence to timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
Carry out independent engineering tasks, ensuring high-quality results and compliance with project goals.
6. Travel Requirements:
Engage in regular travel to external laboratories, client locations, supplier facilities, and vendor sites as necessary.
Domestic and international travel may be necessary, with up to 20% travel, including visits to multiple sites to support project advancement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in a comparable role with practical field service experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to produce detailed technical documentation.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Minimum Requirements:
The Electrical Engineer must fulfill the following minimum criteria:
- This is a remote position. Local candidates will have the option to work in the office, remotely, or in a hybrid capacity.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficient in REVIT.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in delivering technical training and client support.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures in industrial environments.
Strong project management capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
