Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Central Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at The University of Miami. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing medical equipment and supplies for use in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receives, processes, and distributes medical equipment and supplies
  • Cleans and disinfects equipment requiring decontamination or sterilization
  • Assembles and packs medical equipment and supplies for use in patient care
  • Ensures adequate equipment and supplies are available to meet patient needs
  • Transports medical equipment and supplies to designated areas
  • Participates in continuous process improvement and quality systems
  • Adheres to infection control and universal precautions protocols
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in relevant specialty or field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
