Customer Vehicle Processing Associate

The role involves overseeing the seamless check-in and registration process for customer vehicles designated for auction sales.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately enter vehicle details into the AS400 system using a handheld device or provide information to a team member for data entry for each vehicle received, including:
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Stock number
- Dealer identification number
- Make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc.
- Affix barcode/stock number stickers to each vehicle
- Attach work order numbers and labels to vehicles upon arrival and identify vehicles without keys.
- Guide transporters to the appropriate vehicle drop-off areas and report any damage incurred during transport when necessary.
- Capture digital images of each vehicle upon receipt.
- Assign the correct sale identification windshield code to vehicle drivers during check-in.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and actively support safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with safety leaders to foster a culture of Safety Excellence.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by management, which may include assisting with vehicle operation during auction events.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Less than 2 years of experience in a relevant field
- Valid driver's license
- Basic proficiency in computer usage
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in auction or vehicle registration environments
- Capability to operate vehicles with both standard and automatic transmissions
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear
- Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and climbing
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds
- Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Moderate noise levels
