Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Oncology Specialist to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of providing whole-person care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for optimal care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and address any concerns or questions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on the latest oncology treatments, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year Nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
