Job Title: Claims Analyst Specialist
">We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Analyst Specialist to join our team at The Jacobson Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing complex management liability claims. This temporary four-month assignment is based in our New York office and requires specialized knowledge and expertise.
">About the Role:
">- You will be responsible for adjudicating complex management liability claims requiring technical expertise and specialized knowledge.
- Manage securities and employment litigation claims, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Report on claims trends and developments to senior management and underwriters, ensuring that they are informed and up-to-date.
- Provide technical training and guidance to lower-level associates, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Analyze claim forms, policies, endorsements, client instructions, and other records to determine whether the loss falls within policy coverage.
- Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly, gathering all relevant information and evidence.
- Interview involved parties, including insureds, claimants, and other stakeholders.
- Manage claims in litigation, ensuring that cases are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Properly set claim reserves, taking into account all relevant factors and circumstances.
- Identify, assign, and coordinate expertise resources to assist in case resolution, working closely with other teams and departments.
- Prepare reports for file documentation, summarizing key findings and recommendations.
- Apply creative solutions to achieve the best financial outcome, considering multiple perspectives and options.
- Negotiate settlements, working with insurers and other stakeholders to reach mutually acceptable agreements.
- Handle telephone calls and written correspondence with various parties, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns.
Requirements:
">- At least 3 years of experience adjudicating management liability claims with exposure of $100,000 or more.
- Experience with securities and employment litigation claims or private directors and officers.
- Active New York adjuster license.
- A juris doctor degree from an accredited university is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to articulate the financial value of your work at multiple responsibility levels inside our clients' business, including the Chief Executive Officer.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.
- Polished and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in reading and writing English is required.
- This position requires five days a week in the office.
Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
