The Strategic Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the hospice pharmacy business line. This role requires a high level of professionalism, with a strong focus on collaboration with other departments to achieve financial objectives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and marketing, with a deep understanding of the hospice pharmacy industry. They will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, analyzing areas for expansion, and developing new referral sources.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes sales strategies for the hospice pharmacy business line
  • Partners with marketing leadership to establish best practices and introduces trade partnerships
  • Identifies business opportunities and analyzes areas for expansion
  • Proactively meets with business partners to open new opportunities
  • Promotes company efforts through new sales and current account management
  • Supports other new business opportunities as required by senior executive leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
  • No less than five years direct hospice pharmacy PBM sales experience and/or training
  • Deep and broad professional network aligning to our target client base preferred
  • Experience in building new and existing business using consultative skills and value proposition methodology
  • Excellent relationship management skills
