About the Role

Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Medical Surgical team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care to medical patients and complex care patients, including those with strokes, wounds, brain injuries, and respiratory issues.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
  • Current BLS & ACLS certification
