Job Summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging studies while providing exceptional patient care in a comfortable and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring proper function and safety
  • Prepare patients for CT exams, explaining procedures and answering questions
  • Administer contrast media and monitor patients for allergic reactions
  • Screen patients for contraindications and ensure safe imaging practices
  • Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate patients and obtain written screening for contrast media administration
  • Start IVs and inject contrast material for imaging studies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental programs
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • DE State License within 90 days of employment
  • ARRT/Radiographer certification within 1 year of employment
  • ARRT/CT board certification within 18 months of employment
  • CPR certification required
