The City of Corona, CA is seeking a highly skilled Crime and Intelligence Analyst to join our Police Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex data to inform strategic decisions and drive operational improvements.

• Conduct in-depth analysis of crime data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Develop and maintain advanced data visualizations and reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to share best practices and improve crime prevention strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in crime analysis and intelligence.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to police officers, detectives, and management on crime analysis and intelligence matters.

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in criminology, business, or public administration, or a related field.
• Possession of a certificate from an accredited program of study in Crime and Intelligence Analysis is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in common business computer applications and platforms, including MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.

• Two (2) years of increasingly responsible professional experience involving the analysis of criminal activity.
• Experience with ArcMap, ArcGIS, Crystal Reports, Computer Aided Dispatch, and Automated reporting systems are highly desirable.
