About the Role

Metrodoc Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Patient Advocate to join our team. As a Mental Health Advocate, you will work closely with patients, their families, and healthcare providers to provide emotional support, guidance, and advocacy.

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
  • Assisting patients in navigating complex healthcare systems, including insurance claims, referrals, and appointments.
  • Coordinating patient care, including monitoring treatment plans, medication adherence, and appointments.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Strong understanding of mental health issues, treatment options, and the healthcare system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
