Job Title: Technology Architect Fellow

In-Q-Tel is a not-for-profit organization that serves and powers the national security interests of the U.S. and its allies. We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect Fellow to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Technology Architect Fellow will be responsible for assessing the competitive landscape in a given technical field and meeting with companies that offer the best technologies. They will work with a team to develop strategies to enable capabilities involving sensors, microelectronics, advanced manufacturing, autonomous systems, power/energy, and other technical fields.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate technologies for their impact and relevance for In-Q-Tel's partners' missions.
  • Support the development of technical assessment reports and statements of work.
  • Work with partners and potential partners on technical issues.
  • Participate in the oversight of work programs of In-Q-Tel's portfolio companies.
Qualifications:
  • Due to contractual reasons, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Background in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics (preferably Masters degree or higher) in areas that include microelectronics, communications, advanced computer, and quantum.
  • Commitment to continued understanding of new technologies and their strategic advantages.
  • Interest in entrepreneurship and general awareness of technology trends in venture-backed startup companies.
