We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Acute Care team as a Registered Nurse Fellowship. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assist with patient care, including observation and documentation of patient healthcare needs, and communication of pertinent information to the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, and communicate, monitor, and record changes in patient condition as appropriate.
- Participate in transition to practice programs to develop clinical thinking and enhanced clinical judgment.
- BLS Provider certification required.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
- ADN or BSN degree.
- 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Team player with a focus on patient safety standards and ability to provide in-the-moment feedback to peers.
