Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Compliance Quality Inspector to join our team at Birk Manufacturing Inc.

The estimated salary for this position is around $58,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the production of high-quality products that meet customer requirements.

In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing individual products to ensure they meet Birk Manufacturing and/or customer specifications and requirements.

  • You will perform first-piece inspections and first-article reports (FAIR), ensuring that all dimensions and specified notes are met.
  • Consult and confer with the Engineering Department when discrepancies or possible defects are found.
  • Investigate returned products from customers, providing input and suggestions for rework or quality improvement.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of quality management systems, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools.

You will also need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
