Position Overview

At GREENFIELD MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS INC, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Caregiver for Residents, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those in our care.

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver routine daily assistance to assigned residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with the nursing staff and certified nursing assistants to fulfill both direct and indirect care duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with dressing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Support certified nursing assistants with residents requiring two-person transfers, except in mechanical transfers.
  • Maintain cleanliness by making occupied and unoccupied beds.
  • Help in monitoring residents' weights.
  • Provide full or partial bed baths as needed.
  • Deliver incontinent care to residents who are able to move in bed.
  • Assist residents during meal times, ensuring those not at risk for swallowing issues receive proper support.
  • Manage meal trays, including passing, setting up, and collecting them.
  • Ensure residents have easy access to their personal belongings (e.g., call lights, glasses, remote controls).
  • Respond promptly to call bells.
  • Transport residents to the dining area for meals.
  • Accompany residents to external appointments as required.
  • Engage with residents through one-on-one interactions, such as reading or assisting with communication technology.
  • Ensure personal care items are organized and stocked appropriately.
  • Gather necessary supplies for care provision and assist with linen distribution.
  • Encourage independent residents to stay hydrated by passing out drinks.
  • Monitor and report residents' intake to nursing staff.
  • Check fall prevention measures, including bed monitors and personal alarms.
  • Assist with the welcoming of new residents and their orientation.
  • Help coordinate appointments for diagnostic and therapeutic services.
  • Facilitate visitor access to residents' rooms.

Employment Types: Part-time, Full-time

Starting Salary: $16.00 per hour
