Job Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a qualified Behavioral Therapist to join our team in a local school district near the Kansas City, KS area. This is a full-time position that will involve working with students in grades K-12.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k matching.

Job Responsibilities

This Behavior Specialist position requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in behavior therapy. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized behavior plans for students. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with challenging behaviors
  • Collaborating with teachers to provide feedback and recommendations for student behavior
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a School Psychologist License in Kansas. Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
