**About the Role**

We're seeking a skilled Infrastructure Staff Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on various projects, including planning, evaluation, design, and construction activities for wastewater, water, and stormwater conveyance systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform field assessments to evaluate existing site-specific conditions and collect design criteria
    * Assist with environmental studies, permitting, and alternative analysis
    * Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports under supervision
    * Check performance or conformity with design plans and specifications through field inspection and reporting
    * Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
    * Collect and record data and documentation
    * Execute planning, assessment, detailed design, and construction administration assignments
    * Communicate effectively and coordinate with project teams under other disciplines (drafters, designers, and subcontractors)

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
    * EIT certification
    * Master's degree desirable
    * 0-3 years of related work experience
    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    * ArcMap/GIS skills, highly preferred
    * AutoCAD skills, highly preferred
    * Experience with data management (e.g., SQL)
    * Strong written and verbal communication skills
