Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional/Teacher's Aide to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our program participant, promoting their independence, and ensuring their health, safety, and welfare. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with parents and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of the program participant;
  • Promoting the participant's independence and autonomy;
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with parents and other stakeholders;
  • Providing personal care and support as needed;
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times;

Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record. A bachelor's degree in a field related to health or mental care is preferred but not required.
