Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and convey them to the packing station or shipping area.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets using order picker equipment or stand-up forklifts.
  • Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
  • Monitor equipment and processes, reporting any issues to supervisors.
  • Follow standard operating and safety procedures.

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience, with certification as a Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
  • At least 3 years of previous distribution/warehouse experience.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience with stand-up forklift order picker equipment.

Work Environment:
  • This role requires regular standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • The associate may occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
  • Lifting and moving up to 75 pounds is required.
  • The average number of picks per hour is 25, with an average weight of 40-70 lbs.
  • Heavier picks (50-70 lbs) account for 65% of the work shift, while lighter weight items (20-40 lbs) make up 35%.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and adjusting focus.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $24.94 per hour, commensurate with experience.
