Job Summary
The Department of Corrections Executive Leadership seeks a highly skilled Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of correctional services and be able to work effectively with diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop case plans for assigned individuals
- Provide counseling and support services to promote positive behavioral change
- Collaborate with other staff members and community resources to ensure comprehensive support
Requirements
- A valid Social Worker credential from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
- Experience working with correctional clients or in social work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions
This position is expected to work primarily on-site, with occasional remote work possible. The work schedule will be day-time hours, Monday through Friday.
