About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Stater Bros. Markets. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality meat products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in selecting and preparing their meat purchases, providing expert advice on cuts and cooking methods.
  • Grind, cut, trim, wrap, and tenderize meats to meet customer demands.
  • Price and display meat products in a visually appealing manner, ensuring maximum visibility and appeal.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the meat department, adhering to company standards.
  • Participate in inventory management, receiving and stocking meat products in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a meat cutting or butchery role preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
