Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Select Medical. As a Telemetry Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to alarms, and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QTI, QTc, ST segment, and waveform alterations
  • Respond to alarms and ensure timely and appropriate responses
  • Verify correct identification of basic rhythms, lethal rhythms, and artifact
  • Maintain EKG monitor alarms and respond to all alarms as needed
  • Continuously observe all monitors assigned and respond to alarms promptly and appropriately
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training
  • Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs and required competencies on education platform within 30 days of start date in position
