Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Project Manager:
  • Supervise the secure installation of electrical systems across various phases, including power distribution, rough-in, trim, finish work, and final inspections.
  • Engage in the installation, modification, and repair of electrical systems and equipment for large-scale commercial and multifamily projects.
  • Analyze project documentation, including drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications, to schedule work activities and field installations in alignment with project timelines.
  • Plan project tasks and ensure the availability of necessary materials, tools, and equipment to adhere to the construction schedule.
  • Complete essential documentation such as material requisitions, time sheets, and safety reports.
  • Manage electrical materials, tools, and equipment allocated to the job site effectively.
  • Bring over 10 years of experience in overseeing commercial electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering multimillion-dollar projects on time and within budget, adhering to contract specifications.
  • Maintain a recent work history as an Electrical Project Manager on large-scale commercial projects.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
  • Be proficient in operating various tools and equipment, including wire tuggers, conduit benders, lifts, and excavators.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with management, support staff, field personnel, trade contractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Exhibit flexibility in working hours to meet project demands, which may occasionally require extended hours or weekend work.
  • Analyze information and solve problems logically to implement effective solutions.
  • Be prepared to utilize tools as necessary.
  • Ensure projects are completed within or below labor budgets.
  • AHCA experience is a plus.
  • Master Electrician License is required.
  • 30-Hour OSHA Certification is mandatory.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
