Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Technician to join our team at Kent Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Services department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients between different hospital units.
  • Ensure that supplies in the Emergency Services department are properly stocked.
  • Administer CPR, check blood pressure, temperature, or perform phlebotomy and electrocardiograms as needed.
  • Ensure the emergency rooms are neat and orderly at all times.
  • Adjust crutches for patients as necessary.
  • Obtain food orders from the kitchen.
  • Transport discharged patients via wheelchair to their cars.
  • Deliver specimens as needed.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Vocational/technical training and more than six months of job-related experience or equivalent is required.
  • A Nursing Assistant Certificate is also required.
