We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Manager to join our team at Joseph Gallo Cheese Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing equipment reliability programs to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of all machinery and equipment at our dairy processing facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive equipment reliability programs to improve equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Establish and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment life.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Train and mentor maintenance and operations staff on reliability best practices, methodologies, and new technologies.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure reliability initiatives align with overall plant goals.
- Assist with budget management and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Ensure all reliability activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Reliability, Maintenance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment reliability, continuous improvement, or maintenance management, preferably in a dairy or food processing environment.
- Certifications in Project Management, Continuous Improvement, and Reliability Maintenance are a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems, CMMS systems, and Microsoft Suite is required.
