Mechanical Engineer Internship Opportunity

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you'll lead projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and gain hands-on experience. You'll use the Management of Change (MOC) process to implement recommendations, support daily tasks, monitor operating parameters, and ensure safety compliance.

This is a safety-sensitive position, and you'll report to the Sr Reliability Engineer. You'll work onsite and have the opportunity to develop and review Mechanical Integrity Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate with diverse teams
  • Gather process information and perform engineering calculations
  • Present project results and recommendations
  • Assist Process and Reliability Engineers with daily tasks
  • Analyze trends and maintain turbine and compressor efficiencies
  • Track machine tribology data, cooling water surveys, catalyst surveys, DCS trends, and lab results
  • Initiate and follow up on MOC submittals
  • Organize Process Safety Information for technicians
  • Participate in Process Hazard Analyses
  • Develop and review Mechanical Integrity Procedures

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in an accredited Mechanical Engineering Program
  • Ability to make verbal and written presentations to communicate ideas
