OR Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Nurse to join our team at Mercy Hospital. This is a PRN position with no call, nights, or weekends.

The salary for this position is up to $10,000 sign on bonus for experienced OR Nurses, in addition to day-one comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.

As an OR Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients. You will evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers, coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments, and maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

• Licensure: Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure required. Meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year intraoperative nursing experience required.
• Certifications: CNOR and RN-First Assistant class required within one year of hire/transfer. BLS/ACLS certification required within first year.

• Education: BSN degree preferred.
• Experience: Three (3) or more years intraoperative experience preferred.
• Certifications: CNOR, CRNFA certifications preferred.
