We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech to join our Cardiac Telemetry department at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care services, including bathing, oral hygiene, and skin care.
- Assist with completion of patient testing and treatment procedures, including EKGs and phlebotomy.
- Transport patients with assistive devices, such as crutches, and assist with transfer/transport procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Less than one year of previous job-related experience required; 1-2 years preferred.
