About the Role:

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Aequor Technologies, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome speech disorders. Your expertise will be invaluable in educating patients and their families about the causes and treatments of these conditions. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and medical professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to each patient's unique needs. Your strong coaching, verbal, and written communication skills will be essential in providing rehabilitative assistance to help patients achieve their speech and communication goals.

Responsibilities:

Educate patients and their family members about speech disorders, including their causes and treatments.
Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
Report patient progress and current status to appropriate parties.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support each patient's unique needs.
Consult with teachers, parents, or medical providers to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.
Provide rehabilitative assistance to help patients achieve their speech and communication goals.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.
Excellent coaching, verbal, and written communication skills.
Attentive and caring, with the ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Speech Pathologist.
CCC-SLP Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology).
Active [STATE] Speech Language Pathologist License in good standing.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist or in a similar role.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
