We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at ResCare Community Living. As a key member of our nursing group, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in various settings, including home health, hospice, and residential care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist nurses with basic care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration rate
  • Provide simple or uncomplicated patient care, including administering medication as directed by a physician or nurse
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning rooms and changing bed linen
  • Transport patients and assist with mobility needs
Requirements
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Certification as a Nurse Assistant, if required by state licensure
  • Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks with proper body mechanics
