Cyber Security Engineer Job Description

Mission Statement: At Millennium Physician Group, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our electronic health records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Protect Millennium Health's assets against potential threats from cyber adversaries.
  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of Millennium Health's data, systems, and networks.
  • Develop and implement security programs and protect against vulnerabilities, including application security, vulnerability scanning, endpoint security, and SIEM.
  • Collaborate across organizations to incorporate security into the design, implementation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure, systems, and applications.
  • Lead enterprise security threat defenses to increase security protections.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, cyber security, or comparable experience with certifications.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in cyber security.
  • Hands-on work experience with security solutions, such as application security, vulnerability scanners, endpoint security, SIEM, and incident detection.
  • Experience with cyber security frameworks, including HITRUST, NIST, PCI-DSS, and ISO-27001.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to assess complex security issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
