Job Summary:

As a Service Team Member/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation and provide EXTREME HOSPITALITY to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and greet guests, making them feel comfortable and informed about our menu and services
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, offering timely assistance to customers to ensure their needs are met
  • Identify first-time guests and provide menu tours
  • Inform guests of specials and seasonal items
  • Maintain knowledge of food, beverage, and bar processes and services to answer questions and make recommendations
  • Assist patrons with special dietary needs
  • Prepare and serve non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks consistent with our standard drink recipes
  • Correctly and promptly ring guest orders into the POS system
  • Responsible for properly charging the guest and collecting payment for orders
  • Own the guest experience from placing the order to follow-up throughout the meal
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation
  • Answer the phone professionally and according to our standards
  • Open the front door for guests entering and leaving the restaurant when possible
  • Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
  • Between seatings, remove and properly dispose of paper goods, napkins, cups, and utensils, and check and clean the floor as required
  • Perform running duties and side work at the beginning and end of each shift as assigned and required
  • Stock beverage and condiment areas accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain overall front of house cleanliness, including restrooms, service areas, and equipment
  • Rotate product following safety and freshness guidelines
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
Requirements:
  • No previous restaurant experience required, but one year of experience is preferred
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic equipment
  • Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, evenings, and special events
  • Frequent use of hands and arms, and constitution to stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently bend and twist from the waist
  • Verbal and written English fluency
