Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Packaging Machine Operator to oversee the operation of packaging machinery in a manufacturing setting. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the production of high-quality packaged goods. This role is with a reputable manufacturing firm and offers a supportive work environment with potential for long-term employment.

Position Type: Full-time

Work Schedule:

1st Shift: 5AM-3:30PM (Monday – Thursday) or (Tuesday – Friday), with the possibility of overtime during the week and on weekends - Pay: $18.50

2nd Shift: 3:30PM – 2AM (Monday – Thursday) or (Tuesday – Friday), with the possibility of overtime during the week and on weekends - Pay: $19.50

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate production machinery efficiently
  • Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and quality control of products
  • Meet established production quantity standards
  • Complete production documentation accurately as required
  • Inspect products for quality compliance with specifications before and during production
  • Load materials onto production machines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Stand for extended periods as required
  • Perform housekeeping duties as necessary
  • Lift items weighing up to 30+ lbs.
  • Climb ladders as needed
  • Be available for overtime and weekend shifts when necessary
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned
