Job Summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide nursing assistance and support to patients, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently within the hospital.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, including cleaning and disinfecting patient care areas.
  • Document patient information and data on flow sheets.
  • Act as a courier, delivering and retrieving items and materials as required.
Requirements
  • Current BLS (CPR) certification.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
