Staff Nurse

As a Staff Nurse at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to improving lives. With over 42,000 employees, we are the second largest employer in Philadelphia and the largest health system in the Philadelphia region.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
- Practice safe medication administration and assess patient responses to medication.
- Participate in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
- Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period and complete all required documentation.
Requirements:
- BSN Degree preferred
- State Issued RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check.
