Job Title: Certified Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a Veterinary Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a crucial role in the success of our ophthalmology practice, working closely with our ophthalmologists to diagnose and treat ocular disease.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist ophthalmologists with ocular exams and diagnostic testing, including schirmer tear test, tonometry, ocular ultrasound, and electroretinogram.
  • Perform and/or assist in anesthesia procedures, including monitoring and equipment care.
  • Provide general veterinary technician duties, including monitoring patient vitals, medication administration, pain management, phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, and general patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide education on patient care and treatment.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities and monitor patients under anesthesia.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician in an animal hospital setting.
  • CVT certification required.
