**Job Summary**

The Midway Products Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance/Facilities Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Facilities team, you will be responsible for supporting the installation, repair, and maintenance of presses and machinery within our plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Facilities team to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.
  • Perform fabrication work for both Facilities projects and plants, including setup and operation of various fabrication equipment.
  • Provide technical support to plant maintenance departments for machinery PMs and projects as directed.
  • Conduct press PMs and follow up on necessary repairs to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Support major machine repairs to reduce costs associated with hiring outside contractors.
  • Assist in various fabrication projects throughout the corporation, ensuring timely completion and quality results.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of machine repair and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints and weld according to prints.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive stamping supplier environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Fabricating and mechanical skills.
  • Basic machining and electrical knowledge.
  • Computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal stamping shop environment, including travel to plant sites on a daily basis.
  • Use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Normal office environment when required to support the MPG Facilities team.
