BluePearl Veterinary Technician Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our Emergency and Critical Care department at our Lakewood, WA hospital.


About the Role:

  • Lead a team of veterinary technicians and assistants to provide exceptional patient care and customer service.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our department.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to create a positive and productive work environment.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for veterinary technicians and assistants.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of veterinary technicians and assistants to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for veterinary technicians and assistants.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related field.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
