Position Overview:

JT4 is seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Compliance Officer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and sustaining a comprehensive cybersecurity program at the organizational information system level. This role ensures that our information systems are utilized, maintained, and disposed of in alignment with established security policies and practices.

About JT4:

JT4 is a recognized Department of Defense contractor, established to provide exceptional test engineering support services across various military branches, including the Navy, Air Force, and Space Force. With a workforce of approximately 2000 professionals, our corporate headquarters is located in Las Vegas, NV, and we operate at multiple testing ranges in the Western region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain System Security Plans and manage changes to information systems.
  • Conduct audits and provide incident response while preparing for vulnerability assessments.
  • Collaborate with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM), program managers, and external contractors to ensure cybersecurity requirements are met.
  • Assist in writing and maintaining security processes to comply with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Monitor system usage and audit logs, making recommendations for hardware and software improvements.
  • Provide security training and awareness briefings to staff.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer/Information Technology or equivalent technical training. A minimum of five years of experience in computer system security or related fields is required. Candidates should be compliant with DoD M levels and either possess or be working towards Security+ certification, with a CISSP certification being highly desirable.

Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of computer security principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Access, and Visio.
  • Experience with various system configurations, including Stand Alone, Local Area Networks, and Wide Area Networks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent planning and organizational abilities.
Additional Information:

This position requires the ability to work under deadlines and in diverse environments, including remote locations. A valid state-issued driver's license and the ability to maintain a government security clearance are mandatory.
