LPN Med Surg Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical Surgical team at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing lab tests, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse (RN) and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed by the RN or physician.
  • Document patient care in the medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Serve as a resource to department staff, students, and volunteers to help deliver quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • IV Therapy certification within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
