Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this role is to develop a routine schedule for the nursing department or other departments as assigned, replacing last-minute absences and changes due to vacation, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a scheduling system to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments to identify scheduling needs and conflicts
- Communicate with staff regarding scheduling changes and updates
- Monitor and analyze scheduling data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement scheduling policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a scheduling or coordination role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software
